It would be more accurate to say that they require DEXOS1 oils. These are synthetic and synthetic blends.

Dexos1 is correct. Dealer will charge you $85-90 and they will put in regular old mobil, not mobil 1. Do it yourself with Mobil 1 for less money, there are lots of oils with the dexos1 certification. Just look for the logo on the jug.

If you go 10 k intervals make sure you top off at 4 and 8 thousand . It's gonna use some .

Well Suppossedly they are putting mobil 1 oil in it at Sewell. I told them I would pay extra for Mobil 1 since that's not the standard for them anymore and they don't charge me. I hope they're not fucking me !! It says they use mobil one on the service ticket though.
