Yeah im in my mid 30s. No jumps here! Just want to go on those all day rides & be able to get out of a sticky spot when I get stuck. Im thinking of a budget of $2000 on mine & $1000 for hers

Find local businesses, view maps and get driving directions in Google Maps.

I don't know if you're coming from the north or south but if you exit off 35w west to 1187 then go north on Hemphill (right after the apts.) the road will dead end in a cul-de-sac. Pull off the road to the right and there are a bunch of trails out there, I haven't been there in about 4 months because I've been out of the country but last I heard everything was still good. If that link doesn't work let me know.

LTZ400 for you and a Ozark or Recon 250 for her, good plan.

SEB, you might have to up the budget a little just so you don't end up with something ragged out but I bought my 07 Suzuki Z400 off of a member from the "other" site for $2700. Good deals can definitely be found.

                      2 are more fun, IMO.

Depends. My balance and body control sucks. So for me four is more fun. I am just giving Sean crap because he cracked his leg on his first ride at bulcher just from it slamming on the ground too hard. I love bikes, but quads are more fun for me.

That was my first 'major' injury from a dirtbike. I don't like the lack of getting away from a quad when things go bad. We'll chalk my leg up to a 10 yr gap in riding terrain

I know, just messing with you. But you ask anyone who has seen me on both bike and quad. And the will tell you that I am better on four wheels then I am on two.
