There is a lot to do and see and this time of year is my favourite to be over there.

What area of the city will you be in? It's one thing to be located in Central London and another to be in Sidcup or Wandsworth for a week.

Also, in terms of flying over, if you're flying AA, always search for the flights operated by British Airways; much better experience all around. Also, plan to know which airport will work better for you; Heathrow or Gatwick. I've never experienced so many international delays as when I've flown into/out of Heathrow vs. Gatwick.

I lived over there for a little over 4 months and over the course of the next two years, spent 2-3 weeks there every quarter. This was 10+ years ago now, and I haven't been back, but there are certain must see sights when you're there; London Eye, McLaren dealership right next to Hyde Park, Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, etc. Hampton Court Palace is one of my favourites outside of London. Brighton would be kind of fun as a day trip this time of year and would get you away from some of the Olympics craziness. Oxford is an amazing town and I could spend all day wandering around there.

You're welcome. See my edit, though. I added a little bit more; no idea how I missed Oxford the first time around.

If you feel up to it, and have never been, Belgium is just across the channel and was pretty inexpensive (I think like 60 pounds return?) Brussels and Bruges have some of the best breweries to visit. Plus, it's freakin' ridiculously scenic.

The one in Havasu is the original London Bridge, that was dismantled, and rebuilt.
You should correct those Brits. According to them the London Bridge is as I stated, and the new bridge is "the new bridge".

A friend is there and says its raining and cooler there. She was telling me there is a bar made of ice. She responded today something about jameson whiskey. Whiskey sounds good right about now.

If you go over there, Make sure and Visit Lower Uncton. As long as those Bundy men are alive, the town will continue living under the curse of darkness.

I wouldn't say I had a good time in London due to the food, but as it was posted above the comfort food was the shit.
