well everything has been touched on

get an oyster card immediately when you get there
get a round trip express train ticket so it's cheaper to get back to heathrow later when you leave

use the tubes for everything , they're pretty awesome except for the brake dust and during rush hour.

LOOK RIGHT FIRST , not LEFT when crossing the road. even the bikers will about kill you there

I highly suggest a tour of the castles there if you get time to leave the city. Don't sweat it if you don't there is more then enough you can walk to in London

the olympics are going to be a NIGHTMARE dude, good luck with that shit

don't trust anything online about whether a place to eat will be open, hell don't even trust the hours written on the door.

PS your credit card or debit card is VERY UNLIKELY to work there, prepare NOW

Dude, fork out the $20, you cheap ass. Danny and I hit 17 Mile Road out there last year and it was badass. You know... Right before I did that burnout in front of you in Sacramento at BJs Brewhouse.

I've never been to England, but I kind of like the Beatles.

It's not even about the money, I was expecting a quick drive through, and when he said $20 to get in, I was put off and turned around. The beach that I went to is just below the 7th hole (I think), which I've lost many a ball on playing Tiger Woods, which was free, so eff them. I'll be back in early October, and will probably go ahead and check it out one evening. Sans burnout, unless I have my 335i coupe by then.

Yeah, it isn't something you want to rush through. It might only be 17 miles, but I think we were in there for about 2 hours. It's really gorgeous. We saw some deer on that golf course.

The beach I was on is along the coast to, the left of this pic. I didn't have 2 hours at the time, so maybe it's best that I did turn around.

You need to watch European Vacation first. It sucked in the series but is still funny to prep for your trip with.

I have been in and out of London Heathrow a dozen times but all tight layovers. Hopefully I get a chance to go back and actually see the country there.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

No? You're saying it's not? If so, you are the first out of about 20 people that has told me that.

Yep! spent plenty of time stumbling across it headed back to whatever that pink hotel on the island is called.

The food is okay in London. Stick to the pubs. Pub grub is their version of comfort food, with stuff like beef stew, bangers and mash (that is mashed potatoes and sausage), etc. But stay away from those god-awful mashed peas they try to serve with everything, they are terrible!

no the London bridge is still there, isn't just a new bridge

The one in Havasu is the original London Bridge, that was dismantled, and rebuilt.
