I have a set of the current ugly plates on my Civic that I got when they first came out. They're already all faded and shit. Hopefully my county will start handing out the new plates soon so I can go get a new set.

I think if they are faded, you can get them swapped out at the tax office, possibly free or $5

I'm still running the 6 digit ones on all my cars. I really hope they don't force me for another couple of years (just keep renewing your registration before it goes out is what I hear)

I have both plates memorized...I hate memorizing new plate numbers.

I ended up opting to pay for a different background cause they handed me ones like you pictured above. I went with one like this (still waiting for them to come in)....guess I should have waited a little longer, cause I like the new, new plain design.
