  • Wheres the best place to get ~100 ft of cat 5e cable...tonight?

    Online search of the usual places show they dont carry it at the store. You have to order it.

    Fry's appears to have it, but thats a bit of a drive. Just trying to avoid multiple store hops and getting bent over and paying too much (Best Buy)

    Did you try Home Depot? I've seen it there before, but I don't know how their prices are.

      I've seen 100ft spools at loses and home depot. It's fairly cheap I think.

                    Thanks guys. I wasnt thinking of Lowes or HD for some reason so that made the light turn on. Ended up getting a 100 ft premade at Lowes for 30 bucks. Annoying that it can be had for roughly a third of that online, but thats my fault for not planning ahead.

                      Little late chiming in but that's what I did already pre made up like that. Not a bad deal if you don't have a spool to make one up yourself.

                            X2 especially if you were going to extend an hdmi cable with it. But then again most people use cat 6 for that
