Not really. There are a number of officers that commit criminal conduct that should be prosecuted, there are officers that make mistakes in good faith that should be disciplined, and there are officers that legally carry out the duties that result in controversy that some people cannot get over. That's what we have a lot of on the board. People cannot comprehend a legal act and want to scream FTP! when it is explainable, but they refuse to accept it.

There are no excuses for illegal or immoral/unethical conduct. Depending on the conduct, consequences should be meted out and officers should be held accountable.

This isn't a revelation, I've said it before, but Eric, Alan, and others would have you believe that it's all lies. They are incapable of separating fact from sarcasm.
