Well, showing them the brain in the jar and taking it out and letting them handle it are two different things. People are fucking idiots for taking pictures of every bad choice they make and posting them on Facebook.

ACtually, I would care. I view the body of the deceased as one of those things you don't mess with (with the exception of those bastards the Marines pissed on. That was great). And a doctor doing this? I treat soldiers/Marines/Squids and Zoomies as people who are paying the full price of freedom being .45% of the population.

And yes, it makes it more of a crime. Something you didn't realize. This guy was ACTIVE DUTY Navy. The person he did this to was a Marine. That falls within the UCMJ.

Forever frost...you whine too much man. Your words will continue to lose value the more you spew.
Whine? Or point out things too much? I get bitched out for pointing out issues with cops and told I ignore bad things the military does but when I point that out, I'm told I whine. So, which is it?

In case you can't re read what I wrote...you whine too much dude. Always crying about some injustice. Here's a tip...it's the real world man. Shut happens.

And if you were trying to make this look like more of an injustice to the marine you would have put navy doc in the title. But that would make our military also look at fault.

The dude had to have known what he was doing was wrong, either way, so he deserves what he gets... But, I could give a rats ass what happens to my body once I am dead. It's just meat. I plan to be cremated.

I put the title I did to have a little fun with it. Did I not make it clear that this was a NAVY doctor that did this? Perhaps I should have bolded the points in the story to make it more clear. If you were in any way deceived about who did this by my relaying the story, I apologize.

Yes, I talk about injustice. It's my nature to call it when I see it or hear of it. You would prefer I ignored it? Sorry man, not in my nature. Especially when it the body of someone who served this country and offered the Republic their lives and the happiness of their families for the Constitution and the People of the Republic.

Oh when I go, I want to be donated to the Army. Maybe they can bring me back as a terminator or something neat. Otherwise, it's my flesh, not who I am, but that's my choice. This squid took a Marine's body parts and let his kids play with them.

Inappropriate, sure. However, I think punishment might be a tad excessive. He was indulging his child's curiosity and maybe it was in poor taste. Not an act of malice.

Intention aside, he removed it from a jar to allow his child to play with a human brain. The fine is nothing. Him losing his second job, nothing. I'm interested to see what the UCMJ says about this. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your point of view, he'll have to explain this to whatever the Navy version of a Court Martial is (hopefully).

This should never have happened. The body parts of humans are not toys to be brought home and handed to your children to play with. They are parts of someone who lived and to do this disrespects them and their families. Can you imagine seeing on Facebook "OMG! My hubby brought this home, see little Andy playing with Sgt X's brain? Neat huh?" if you were said sargent's family?
