    The track they tested on, they took an average of top speeds going different directions, to rule out tailwinds. They did hit 191 one way, but the average of both directions was 189.

                  The Big Three have been submitting "ringers" for some articles since Jesus wore short pants. Car and Driver also submitted a shit-ton of calculations showing WHY it didn't hit 200mph. Remember the fiasco with '99 Cobra's? One little production glitch can easily make the difference between 191 and 202. I get C&D, Motor Trend, and MMFF, and all of them have varying opinions on the Shelby. One thing they all agree on...it IS bad to the bone.
