Ear Ache

Well ever since Monday I noticed my Ear starting hurting & didnt think much of it till I woke up Tuesday & it was still hurting. I went to work & worked the day & got home & after a shower & eating it starting getting worse, Now its throbing & has sharp pains every now & then that shoot threw it Tuesday night I started Amoxcillen & started my first dose with two Pills & a Pill after each meal from there on after, tried the Sweet oil & still didnt work, Started Antibiotic Ear Drops Weds & been taking those every night before bed. Still nothing! Today went to GNC & picked up those two Ear Candles & man they pulled out a TON of wax. I couldnt believe my ears had that much wax in them. But still no luck.

Any ideas on how to relieve this Ear Ache, Its not stopping me from working. But its a annoying pain thats always there

If you dont have insurance a standard visit is under a 100 bucks. I dont fuck around when the pain is near my brain or my heart.

Dealing with something similar.

First question, can you still hear out of that ear? If so....

Try Isopropyl Alcohol. Let it sit for about 5-10 mins (it's going to sting so man up) and then drain. Use a rubber bulb and flush the ear with warm water.

Then go to the doctor.

Go to CVS, Walmart where ever...get some hydrogen peroxide, big ass bottle of Normal Saline, and a bulb syringe...tilt your head opposite of bad ear drop enough peroxide into canal til full sit there for few mins suction out and proceed to flush your ear with as much force that bulb will do multiple times...you will get major wax out I guarantee it!

Peroxide is what I would normally use too, but my dr said that with fluid already in the ears alcohol would be best. Peroxide is water based. I agree with everything else.

The reasoning behind the peroxide is to eat the wax away from the wall of the canal to allow for proper flushing of it out...then the alcohol is a good follow up I agree...
