my 16 year old son just got his license on Monday and he just took off solo for the first time for wingstiop and a friend's house in Sachse.

so if you know anyone on the roads in Sachse, call them and tell them to seek shelter!

LOL, I know what you mean. My Daughter has been driving around with her permit since last Feb and she turns 16 in 6 weeks. I bought her a truck last week and am not looking forward to that first time she takes off on her own.

My daughter just started driving on a regular basis. She's had her lic. since Sept., but we just now got her a car. She will not be driving to school until next year.

We've already been down this road before, our oldest son just turned 21, so we're not as stressed as the first time.

Whatever you do, don't co-sign on a new car, with them agreeing to make payments......make them earn it.....

We are also in the Sachse area, so we both need to be more aware.

I almost shit every time I had to go the the DPS office and see all the kids getting their lic.

yeah, this isn't our first run down this road either as we have a 23 y.o. daughter. she had three fender benders in 2 years and one was a parked car.
