I was just referring to how the mother is already quoting "rights", as if the girl somehow had her rights violated instead of it being an accident....and like she's already consulted counsel. But seriously....how many times have you approached a cop from behind and randomly put your arms around him/her? Perhaps it wasn't a random cop...maybe someone she knew personally...or maybe it wasn't and she was just being a drunk dumbass....guess we'll be hearing when more media reports surface. Yeah, I spent some time trying to figure out how to pull the trigger through a cheap Uncle Mike's IWB holster and never got it to budge. I can't imagine how it would've gone off if it was in a real holster.

Yep. when i'm in the truck with mine it's cocked and safety on.. why even carry if you have to pull it, chamber a round, then proceed to protect yourself.

I guess I am too cautious then, to me it seems there are way too many silly accidents that can occur on a daily basis that could cause a trigger to be bumped and something like this happening for me to carry my weapon with the hammer pulled and the safety off.
