Fortunately, she got out of there with no injuries other than some mental trauma (to this day).

Once. We were in a diner and a guy and his spouse decided to storm. He was all,"listen up this is a robbery" and she was all " if any of you mother fuckers move, I'll execute every last one if you." Then a jerry curled guy that looked kinda like an alien had a briefcase and a bad mother fucker wallet was dressed like a dork but got the drop on them. True story bra

As an addition to my earlier post... Practice off-hand, one-handed and hip-firing whenever possible at the range. Drawing from the blind side and hip-firing as you turn is one of the bed methods to putting your CCW into play in the event you've already been drawn on. Hands seem to be very common places to get shot (target fixation), so practice the weak hand/one hand firing in case you damage your strong hand.
I know it's a bit morbid to discuss getting shot up and having pieces of your body blown off as legit concerns, but some of the things people who have guns say often after getting fired on (i.e. cops, DEA, ATF) is that they wish they'd taken the FIRST (not BEST) opportunity and that they'd fired at the bad guy sooner.
I'd rather have scars, some missing fingers and a story to tell than get buried because I was hesitant to save my own ass.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. Once upon a time, I made an honest living of selling used cars. It was a pretty busy day, and my manager brought a customer to me, and just threw me some keys, and told me to show a car to this guy..
As we are walking out to the car, I'm trying to make small talk with this guy. His responses are more or less mumbles, that cant be understood. He looks like a crack head, walks like a crach head, and mumbles like one as well. So instead of really going into my whole "sales pitch," I just say..."Yep...Here it is."
In the back of my mind, I'm literally trying to figure how to tell him in a nice way, that I don't really feel comfortable showing the car to him.
The next thing I know, I look up and about 4 other sales people, and my boss are standing over me, telling me not to get up. The back of my head hurts like a mother fucker, and theres blood on my shoulder, and all down my shirt. I didn't really remember what had happened right then, but I got pistol whipped in the back of the head, and that guy took the keys and left with the car.
We all went back and watched the video surviellance, and I had turned my back to the guy, just for a split second. WHACK!!sigpic

About 6 weeks after it happenend, a detective called me and said they found the car, and arrested the guy. Wanted to know if he dropped by, If I could identify him in a picture line up.
When he showed me all the picture line ups, every single guy pictured was hispanic...but the dude that stole the car, was definately a white guy. After, I told him this, the detective explained that the hispanic driver swore up and down that he didnt steal the car, but that he had bought it from a crack head for $500. (It was a BRAND NEW maxima)
So, I don't think they ever caught him...however, If I had to guess the dude is probably in jail or dead. He was WAYYY cracked out.sigpic

I used to get robbed all the time in PLANO, sometimes at gunpoint. They always managed to get about $250.00 to $350.00 from me. Sometimes I would see them coming or turing around to get me and I would RUN, RUN, RUN. I had to move out of that city and limit my visitations to that area of Collin county.
So in closing, FUCK THE PLANO POLICE DEPARTMENT!Originally posted by SilverbackLook all you want, she can't find anyone else who treats her as bad as I do, and I keep her self esteem so low, she wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

A buddy and I got robbed back in 1990 when I lived in Lubbock. We were walking out the back of a friend's house and into the alley. Once we got out of the lighted area and into the dark two guys popped out from behind a car and pulled guns on us. I was a broke ass college student with less than $20 in my pocket and so was my buddy. I was so damn mad as I was standing there looking at the robbers that I couldn't stand it. As soon as we gave them our money they started laughing and talking shit. I became even more livid, but I knew not to try and be a badass since it was 2 guns vs. 0 guns. They slowly walked off back down the alley and when they were about 25 yards away I couldn't stand it anymore. They weren't paying any attention to us anymore, so I slowly started walking behind them and when they were about 20 yards away I started screaming at them. They turned their head back and then took off like 2 scared little bitches. Unfortunately, they were 2 little scared bitches with mine and my buddy's money! We called the cops, gave descriptions of them and they got picked up a day or so later.
When I started bouncing in clubs in the early 90's I met a guy that was a total self-defense badass. He was a former border patrol sgt, but was going through a weird time in his life, hence working at a bar. We would walk through "what if" situations all the time to help being mentally prepared if something happened. One of the first things he told me was if someone with a knife is attacking you, you have to expect to be cut at some point during the fight. He said too many people in that situation freak out once they get cut, take their mind off the fight part of the situation and end up getting hurt much worse. Oddly enough, a couple months later a guy pulled a knife on me as I was kicking him out of the bar. He stuck me in the wrist out of nowhere, but I was able to keep my focus on the fight and ended up getting him in handcuffs. The cops showed up and his dumbass when to jail.
