Anyone here work for TXU? Have a quick question about the time frame of having some underground lines installed.

You need Oncor most likely. I want to say the last time I put an order in with Oncor to run underground, it was about 10 days. Call your energy provider and ask them to put the order in with Oncor.

And you can ask if they will do priority, which I don't know if that's something they will do priority or not. If they do, it will be at an extra cost to you.

It has been almost a month. Suppose to have been a "priority" for about 3 weeks now. The first week we were told..it is to wet to run the underground lines. I think we have seen 10 drops of rain since then...lol Guess it is still too wet.

I didn't say they were awesome. I worked for them for 3 years. Tons of empty promises. Sucks because they used to be an awesome company before they were sold.

No he needs TXU. Oncor does the distribution side of things but TXU or whoever you are using for service would be scheduling the install from the secondary line to the house. Now they may have ONCOR come do it but he has to go through his service provider.

The problem is, it's the homebuilder's REP right now, so he is having a hard time getting answers from Oncor.

Best I can tell you as of this moment is to call TXU and hound their asses to get your UG service hooked up.
