      I never been to a Kips when it was down here. I know when I am in LA I go to the Big Boys in Burbank! Damn good place! Great car show on Friday nights!

        We used to go to one on beltline rd.
        Kinda in carrollton or farmers branch.

        Building is still there. Still a cafe last I saw...

          There used to be one in GP, and when I was a sophmore the seniors stole the Statue and put it up on top of GP High School. lol that and a bunch of other stuff they stole.

                  I gotcha on that one! I did a chick in the bathroom of the Bonanza at Josey and Valley View. Next to Alberstons....same store that used to be Skaggs. God Damn I had totally forgotten about that!!....damn I'm old now....but thanks still Brian for unlodging that memory!!

                    Yep, on Bedford Euless Rd, right where it split off from Grapevine Hwy. I remember that one well.

                    The last "Big Boy" restaurant I ate ate was in Barstow, CA. That was about 5 years ago. Still delicious.

                            I only went once to the Big Boy in Richardson, soon after I arrived here in the late 60's.

                            Does anyone (have to be an old fart) remember the Pig Stand Drive Inns in and around Dallas? I don't remember much about their sandwiches, but they had the best thick malts around. The one I remember was down near White Rock Lake at Garland Road and Gaston.

                                Another similar to Kips was Sambo's. Hmm, I wonder why they aren't still around.

                                I ate at a Kips in Detroit a couple of years ago near Belle Isle.
