Insulation in my 1,400 sqft apartment sucks ass! 70 during the day, 65 at night (but it never cools to 65) and my bill is at $250 this month.

I've been testing out the whole leaving the AC on all day instead of just turning it on when i get home from work.

78 during the day and 75 at night. Last months bill was 163$ for a 2100sq ft house.

Back when we had a 680sq ft apt, i would have to run it at 73 to just even make it feel decent and my bills during the summer would be around 180-220...Apt insulation sucks.

There is no way that ac can keep up as hot as its been. I'm in Kansas and its been a 100+.

1100 sq ft, set on 78* all day/night, $102 for month of June. Fan in living room going anytime we're in there

I would set the temp lower at nights but the ac barely blows in the bedroom, so lowering the temp just makes the living room colder.

Katrina bought like an industrial fan to put in the bedroom that blows what seems like a hundred mph and is freaking loud as hell

You guys should probably check out Reliant Energy. Elec bill from my previous apartment compared to my house. House came out on top for being a cheaper bill, usually under $100 . 3 bdrm not sure on the sq ft.

I had mine put in a few months ago, haven't really noticed much on the bill yet but it doesn't matter because the living room feels a lot better now.
