I didnt confront her for several reasons, one of them being there were children and family's present as this is a very busy public place. What better would I be by causing an even bigger scene? That would make the problem worse, and not solve anything.

The looks she received by me and everyone else should have been enough to let her know she was acting unexeptable and wasn't welcome.

You cannot confront people of this nature, because they simply do not care and will just make an even bigger scene, you should know this.
