No, not every 21 year old. I want to give every 18 year old a gun and badge after a grueling boot camp that also teaches civics and the true purpose of having a government and laws.

Hook every young man to a senior officer who is at least 35 and let them learn.

You also missed my part about clearing out the bad laws. If the cops were not busy enforcing bullshit laws they would have the time to actually do some good instead of just keeping their boot on the necks of a non compliant citizenry. We could quickly have a force consisting of peace officers instead of the police force consisting of the cops (hall monitor snitches) that we have now. In today's world peace officers are the exception and not the rule. We need more good officers and the sooner we get them the better off we will be.

If people are unwilling to do it do not allow them to get any state licenses at all, ever. Pay for it from our school funds, the money being used to funds current law enforcement, and the savings from not having to keep a quarter million people behind bars in our state prisons. More savings will be realized with less people on probation, and parole as well.

That was my thought. "You WILL be a cop or you get penalized." So you are going to force someone to be a cop and turn them loose with that anger, on society. Right
