Anyone going to the Airshow and Fireworks at Cedar Creek Lake this weekend 7-7-12?

Is the RH Lee park still open or is it closed? I can't tell from reading on google

Will the planes be over the lake? What time is it kicking off? May have to load up the boat and head out for this one.

Yes sir. They fly over the bay and main lake in front of the Pinnacle Club. They host the airshow each year. Sounds like I may be stuck floating in front of the boat house this year or we may swim to the end of the cove to watch.

I don't think it is a state park or anything anymore; however you can get in the parking area, and lots of people setup grills etc. there on the beach.

Apparently the Mig 17's and a few of the prop planes did practice runs yesterday afternoon.
