so my in-laws are bugging the hell out of my wife wanting to know what to get me. i want cash but they wont give cash. so i am trying to come up with 3 items around $50 each that can be easily resold on ebay- ideas?

Why don't you just accept, and keep, a gift from your in-laws? I bet your wife is reconsidering some of her life choices. Or maybe she should be.

nobody just flat out does not shop.. You may not like to shop, or may not do it frequently. But I'm sure your home is furnished, you have clothes on and your pantry is full. Doubt the wife did all of that alone. Just ask for a Frys or Best buy gift card and keep it in your wallet till you get the itch for a new tv or something.

At least with a furniture or electronic store a gift card is kinda an easy scapegoat cause you could be saving for something that is to big for a family to give as a Christmas gift.
