Damn dude. Sorry to hear it, that is a rapid fire amount of suckage. Most everyone knows my life fell apart about a year and a half ago.
First, you need to figure out your priorities. It would seem getting a job would be #1, which will facilitate you moving back out of your parents place into your own. After that, you need to look at some of your unrealized dreams and start working toward making them happen. For me, I'm a travel junkie, so I've been doing that as much as possible.
As far as day to day, that can be the roughest part. You've got some big things going on that are only going to move at a snails pace, and it will be frustrating. Try to find something to keep you occupied and reconnect with friends.
At the end of the day you need to do whatever YOU need to do to recover. Some people might see you making some questionable decisions, but if there was ever a time in your life to be wild, this might be it. Or it might be a terrible idea. That is up to you and how YOU work internally. Don't let any one else give you shit about what you're doing to move past it though. We all heal in different ways. Good luck.Comment

That really sucks. Try to keep your head up and things will turn around. We don't realize how strong we are until we get our backs against the wall.

When it comes to things like this, it reminds me we have some pretty good folks on the board some times. I have not been in your shoes, but I have thought about it many times. Remember it is never too late to start over. People come to this country all the time having left behind wealth and family with no one here they necessarily know, but they find ways to survive and thrive and become contributing members of society and they started off a lot harder. Just saying, be thankful you aren't starting at THAT rock bottom. You'll get through this. Sounds like July will be a good time to bond with your daughter. I don't know how old she is, but take all the time you can to spend with her now while this "break" is here.Comment

One, you can't be that old. Two, you have a daughter that is counting on you to be a dad. It doesn't take money, a job, or your own place to do that. If you're back home anyway, take some time to reflect, relax, and plot a new course for yourself and your daughter. Lean down financially and physically (if needed). Excercise helps clear the mind and attitude. As a REAL old guy, I can tell you that you can't buy back time, but you can use what's left in an effective and positive way, especially when it comes to your daughter. Take time to cry, bitch, and complain, then put your big-girl panties on and fight another day.Comment

It's a fresh start and the guys that come in with a slight bit of maturity and physical fitness can go far in a relatively short amount of time.
