I don't agree. This site already has too many forums. People say this place is slower than the old site back in the day, but its because there weren't 20 subforums until the last few years. A few things I'm glad they made forums for since I have no interest(like Sports), but some of them like The Theology Forum need to go away and just be added back to the Back Porch. Detailing Forum could be a subforum of the garage, etc. But I'm an anti-clutter and organizational freak, so maybe it's just me.

replace theology forum with a ftp or move it to smack... That will keep the 4-5 guys who goto the extreme to show there hatred to the popo in one center location 95% of the time! Ingenious! It doesnt bother me either way. I usually ignore, and rarely comment in them ftp threads. I know most of them hate cops because of a (in there opinion) ticket that was just wrong! He was picking on me! He got the other guy! Wha! And that ticket blossumed into a beautiful flower of hate and discontent. Its like me and Mcdonalds. I got sweet tea instead of unsweet once and I will NOT return to that establishment!

I'd just like to put out there I've never gotten a ticket and my issue is clearly a constitutional one and a lack of repercussion for action

Funny, I count 5-6 current/former cops that voted for moving them to the Smack, and only 1 that is against. lolz, that should tell you everything you need to know.

What, that our LEO's are tired of stereotyping and blanket statements about their profession being the first 5 threads in the back porch everyday?

My question is why do they take it personally, the thread is obviously about the officer that fucked up and not them.

What FF and others are trying to accomplish is to educate people about the dangers of the, albeit it's a small percentage, LEO's that harass civilians and get away with it. Their(LEO'S) actions SHOULD be under a microscope.

Its a sad day in this country when one gets pulled over and the first thing they do is panic and get nervous, I wonder why that is...

That may be the intent of the OP and the article, but it always turns into something different. 5 posts in, each thread turns into an "all police can eat a dick!" war. When I see one of the threads now, I click on it, read the first post, and then no further. I'm tired of the flame session they've become.

It definitely isn't slower from a operational standpoint, I assume you mean activity.

That's the thing, with the exception of 2 or 3 posters it really doesn't. What it usually turns into is 03trublugt coming up with outlandish scenarios and justifications meanwhile assailing the character of opposition as "cowards" or "armchair quarterbacks."

I hear he is campaigning pretty hard for his very own Police subforum in the VIP forum! I guess thats an obvious solution to the one police related question we get once every two weeks, rather than just PMing or god forbid distract from all the important topics being discussed in the Back Porch. Maybe he could join Steve over at dfw5.0 and they can rub their two brain cells together in search of a solution.

If they get pulled over, it's likely for an alleged traffic violation and if guilty they know it's going to cost them some $$$.

Just remember guys. It's always the people who are looking for more power that you should be most worried about giving it to.
