Yea fuck that. It is to hot i will turn off a light or two but the AC is staying on a tolerable level. Man i have been in 105-107 degree heat before but this shit feels more intense somehow. No power outage in Irving. Knock on wood.

WEnt out on base today too. At least the side of the base I was on. Good thing I had a class at the base police station today, they have a sweet ass generator so the power was out for about 10 seconds while the system kicked on.

here at the plant i work at, we can get the call from ERCOT at any moments notice to get our generators online to feed into the grid. i can feed 9 megawatts of power into the grid in less than 5 minutes. which is a lot of homes, i'd guess a few thousand or more
