    Never heard of this initiative before. Don't really have an opinion on it but thought it interesting.



    Experts estimate that only 50% of the languages that are alive today will be spoken by the year 2100.

          I know Gaelic is endangered. They are trying to teach it in schools in Ireland, but its a very difficult language to learn as a 2nd language, and they are trying to get rid of the apathy to try to save Irish culture, and get people to realize how important it is to try to preserve it.

            I know Navajo is one of them. One of my friend's is Navajo and his great grandmother only speaks Navajo and he can't communicate with her.
