Yes I forgot to add good luck.

I will add my lungs rock now. I don't despise smokers and are around them every day. To much my lungs start burnings and my eyes.

So glad I gave it up.

What? You said you failed repeatedly, thus a failure.

But seriously, I never tried to quit until I did cold turkey. I put into my mind that it was a filthy habit that no one liked, smelled bad, and would eventually kill me. Ever since then I can't stand the smell of them and have never had the urge to have another. The mind over matter thing worked for me, use something powereful to motivate you (girlfriend, set up a reward) create the desire to stop and forget about pills and crap like that.

Cold turkey a year and 8 months ago....visit to the Baylor ER with blood pressure of 220/140 and having severe headaches did it for me. I also had an impacted wisdom tooth (ER doctor told me that the wisdom tooth was probably adding considerably to the BP...but that even factoring that in my pressure was probably running about 180/110....WAY too high. Diet, exercise, and light meds now and its totally under control.

Used Chantix for 30 days to quit a 15yr smoking habit. That was 5 yrs ago.

It gave me severe insomnia however no mood swings. I drank heavily while on it as well and suffered no consequences

For me it was like having the after cigarette feeling all day long, which caused me to have severe insomnia

Others I knew on the pill had lucid dreams about people killing themselves. Be warned its a mind altering drug
