I actually ordered a lebra off of amazon the other day for a trip to Michigan in the mustang. Painters tape is terrible on old paint, $70 seemed worth it for piece of mind.

And clear bra is about $250-$550 depending where you go. It's technically the same process as window tint and there are a few tint shops around that do it
