Once you pick them up they are fairly calm . Now my wife on the other hand wasn't and swore it was fake till it moved . I see them almost daily here

They are harmless once you get past the general shock of picking up a big fucking spider basically. We use to coax them out with a peice of grass and my dad would grab them for us .
