I hate that the birch that got pulled over was part of this group and knows damn well he was not in the right yet he plays the innocent card.

But i still think the cops reasoning was wrong. He should have been smarter about it and never gave him a chance to get out. Next time...go straight for the arrest and get a warrant.

Actually, he WAS innocent. He wasn't stopped for stunting, speeding, weaving or anything else. He was stopped because the cop saw he had a cam and thought "Well, that would come in handy."

Actually, he WAS innocent. He wasn't stopped for stunting, speeding, weaving or anything else. He was stopped because the cop saw he had a cam and thought "Well, that would come in handy."

For once, Frost, you've stated the only thing that matters and is undeniably the only important thing for everyone to note. The LEO was way out of line. Basically, it's the same as pulling over a car going the speed limit that had someone in the back seat filming some bikers because he thinks the camera phone may have evidence. This has nothing to do with the vic being a stunter or cager or anything besides a law abiding citizen. For once I 100% agree -- FTP!!! If I were the vic, I'd lawyer up and get paid.

Eh the bike riders are causing their own problems.. it might not be legal, but we cannot street race without consequence in vehicles or we get popped.. Same thing with them as far as stupid stunting on public roads.

Suggestion would be to find a vacant lot or street as some street racers do and go there. Not that it would be legal but at least maybe the dumbasses won't cause unnecessary attention to a legit rider.

The helmet camera is there for one reason. They can whine all they want but the cop isn't stupid, not justified in his actions but smart enough to know there are quite a few citations to be found on it.

^^^^^^ my wife saw this on the news today while cleaning and couldn't belive it had to ask when it was ok for a cop to pull you over to just take your stuff I told her never but it's the old saying if a cop wants to screw you over he will make up a reason. And I don't ride a crotch rocket and never have. This a like a cop taking a cell phone from a long haired college kid so he can see if there is pics of him smoking pot he was fishing for a crime with no proof just seeing if he can find any after stealing and lying and making stuff up.

No shit? I thought it was a class C up until 03 or 05 or something? I got nabbed after the change and it was a class B trip to jail.

Perhaps it was like that in certain cities/counties. I think Plano was one of the first to start a no tolerance policy in the late 90's. I ended up in jail for about six hours for "racing (myself?)" across an intersection. After I was put in back the cop typed "GOT 'EM" to other responding cars and a bunch of bolstering cock swinging ensued with responses... as if I put up a chase and a fight. Dipshit.

If he would have pulled him over for the plate violation in the first place he would have been good, make the camera a secondary goal, Instead he acted hastily and made all the guys who wear the uniform look like a bunch of uneducated fuckwads that want to steal your property because they feel like it.
