I've been there done that, have all the tickets to prove it. They can pull you over for whatever, ticket you for whatever and even take you to jail for being an asshole. He should have complied with the JBT and all would have been well. He would have got a ticket and his camera taken away but could have got it back. Instead he went on and on about his rights and "you gotta be kidding me" line.

Like I tell my son and anyone that will listen, The MAN is in charge, don't be a fucking hero, take the ticket and comply, get to go home with a ticket, instead of jail or the morgue.

That attitude is what killed close to 100,000,000 people in the last 100 years.

They wouldn't have evidence to throw more charges and put you into a gang unit.. Shit like that will come and bite you in the ass, in further stops ect..

Yeah, drop the camera (gopro) that is in a protective case and then stomp on it with your 200 lbs of fury. Then you can watch the cop reach down while looking at you like a retard only to pop out the perfectly unharmed SD Card out of the side. And then probably beat your ass with his baton and make a News episode out of your ass.

You could probably run that camera over with a truck and still have the SD Card in working condition to pull video from it.

According to the video it's VERY clear it was made up after the fact. The officer wanted the cam and there was nothing the biker could have done or said that would prevent it. File a lawsuit against the officer and the city and maybe they'll learn about taking the private property of citizens.
