Now you WANT THE cops to do something ? you feeling ok today?

His probem was his violator contact was a little backwards not that he had made up PC.
Fine, the officer had PC to stop him. He did not have the right to take his camera.

      And no to both Matt.

You mean do I want the cops to do their jobs? Yes. Do I want them to violate rights and try to steal a camera under the guise of a stop with reasoning created AFTER the fact? No.

He'll get the camera back, not quite stealing, but still inappropriate. Post with logic, instead of full on "FTP," and you might get heard.

And joyriders return the cars eventually. Still a crime. And when will he get his improperly taken property back? 2 years? 3? You mean like the soldier who had his weapons confiscated and defaced took 2 years to get them back?

The cop has no right to it and being stopped because he wants it to look for evidence of something is bad wrong.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but the way you put it out there, sounds very extremist. It's not what you say, it's how you say it.

I'll explain that. It's not an excuse but I do have damage to my frontal lobe so my reaction to most things is pretty extreme. I don't have a middle ground and emotional responses are either anger or completely baffled at everyone else. Cops abusing their authority is one of my hotspots, especially considering how we were made to treat Iraqi's. If I am held to that standard there, I fully expect at least that level of treatment here.

The highway is blocked in both scenarios with no regards for the people behind.

                  How is it so different?

Because large hail not only causes significant damage to vehicles but, during heavy traffic, can cause accidents because it's unexpected and drivers react unexpectedly. Kinda like how drivers react to a fleet of crotch rockets unexpectedly slowing down and doing 35-40mph whoolies on a 70mph freeway?

Why, Brien, I think you're advocating bikers NOT stunting! I'm so proud to see you turn another leaf!

                    • BUT the ones that stopped have no regard for those behind them. It's for personal gain. I don't want my car damaged, sucks about yours.

I never said stunting is good I've been on a couple stunt type rides and I don't enjoy going slow on the highway, it's boring. I also don't like behind in the back of those rides as cars will swerve at you, though the problem is at the front of the group.

It's not my type of riding, though those that say they'd hit a motorcycle entertain me, so I like these threads. People like Alex that wish death on people entertain me and people like MAGNUS that stereotype entertain me.

                        • How is there no dashcam video from the officer's car when his lights were on the entire time?

                            • That footage was taken from the same cop that I passed at the end of my video...he turned his lights on as I was approaching, but the video doesn't start until about 20 seconds later. Probably just because there wasn't much to show other than me riding by at the speed limit.

But...I did find it interesting that he didn't do shit about the girl making that hand-off and then taking off on the bike. I'm sure it was just an SD card that she gave him, but it coulda been anything. I was wondering why the cop didn't react or do anything at all about it.
