Who has Sprint?

I have the new EVO LTE and its bad ass.

Sprint service can be spotty in some areas but that's because they are completely overhauling their network.

I'm in New Orleans this week and have got nothing but great coverage everywhere I go. I've done a few speed tests with a max of 2067 kbps and most averaging around 1600. So it seems the new EVDO (or whatever the new 3g network is) is up and running down here, but not 4g.

Sprint customer service can be great if you know how to manipulate it. I get a full upgrade every 12 months.

How did you manage to get your upgrade every year? It's killing me that I don't get an upgrade until April right now, I want the sgs3

I am happy overall with Sprint, but I have family that lives near there (Welch/635) and Sprint's reception is a black hole in that area. It absolutely sucks over there.

Since I moved to Carrollton, my neighborhood happens to sit right in black hole of Sprint's network. I'll probably move to Verizon or T-Mobile in February when my contract is up.

Sprint has what they call an airave that runs off ur broadband. It puts out a full 3g signal in ur house. Works great as I get no signal at home without it. They sent it too me for free to keep me from switching. Also I have had Sprint for 14 years and no complaints.that have always fixed any problem ive had.

I've tried to get Verizon to do the same thing, even citing Sprint's policy of giving them away free rather than charging $250 for their version. When I explained that my ETF was cheaper they said they'd be sorry to see me go.

I switched to Verizon in 2003 because I had to go outside my home to make a phone call under Sprint's network. I don't think they were giving away airaves then.

I get my phone today, if i'm not happy with it in 30 days i'm gonna return it and TMobile was gonna be the next best choice for me. Thanks

I have a sprint wireless broadband card. Before the iphone rollout the network was fast and reliable. Ever since they rolled out the iphone the 3g data service has slowed down.... and slowed down.... and now it's like being on a 300 baud modem. From what i've been reading sprint has oversubscribed their backhaul really badly which is why the network has just about died. They didn't bother to upgrade their network for the usage it's getting.

4G? Yeah... i've gotten it in a very, very few places over the two years that i've had the card. Sprint's abandoning wimax and going to LTE but i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to get that done anytime soon. And the people that bought wimax modems are screwed.

I'm going to eat the early termination fee and get rid of sprint.

Sprint already has a bunch of towers upgraded in the DFW market. They're just not turned on yet. Latest I've read is they will officially flip the switch next month.

It shows every location where a tower has been upgraded to 4G LTE signal when it goes live. It also shows the ones in the near future.

I have Sprint, but corporate pays the bill now, and I'm no where near the Galleria.

When in TX thought, I rarely had an issue with coverage, but this is well before 2G, 3G, 4G BS. My life revolves around connectivity, so I use wifi usually, not my phone or iPad.

just got my phone, at home on the sprint network no wifi. I'm getting like 1500ping to a server by the gallery and 4kb download and 20kb upload. haha

Hooray for yearly upgrades! I'm getting a sg3 also when i upgrade in August.
