Well, I have already experienced that before. I agree with you, it's really not about the money but their practice. They could have informed us before we agreed to the amount they offered us. At least we won't be that surprise when we see the bill or the statement. Honestly, since that happened, I've always been paying through cash just to make sure. It used to be that every person paid with cash, or maybe a check, for every little thing, everywhere. However, we now live in the credit and debit card age and are heading for mobile payments, but one should always make an effort to tip servers with cash whenever we can. Usually all the CC tips would be thrown in a "bucket" as they enter them throughout the night. At end of night, theyd pull their report and then deduct from their sales.
