    Henry Hill -- New York mobster turned Hollywood Goodfella -- died Tuesday in an L.A. hospital after a lengthy illness, TMZ is reporting. He was 69.

    TMZ quotes his girlfriend, Lisa: "He had been sick for a long time. ... His heart gave out."

    Hill, of course, was the legendary basis for Ray Liotta's character in the Martin Scorsese 1990 classic Goodfellas.

            he used to go on the stern show pretty frequently...in fact, he may have been a member of the "wack pack"...i'm sure they'll be talking about it on monday. sad deal, but that guy lived a long time, considering he was drunk or high just about his whole life! RIP

                      I heard a ton of times that the mob had a bounty on his head ever since he became a rat. I've always been curious how he made it this long once he came out and started telling his story to Stern and everyone else that would listen.

                          And that's the hardest part. Today everything is different; there's no action... have to wait around like everyone else. Can't even get decent food - right after I got here, I ordered some spaghetti with marinara sauce, and I got egg noodles and ketchup. I'm an average nobody... get to live the rest of my life like a schnook.
