Mexico was a shithole before even oil was really needed. Honestly, ever since Santa Anna got deposed (the first time) , it's been a shithole.

And besides that, mexico has plenty of oil too.


As far as the original article goes, its like i said in the legalizing drugs/mexico thread: You cut off one source of income to a crime syndicate, they will just find other ways to make money.

If drugs were legal in Mexico, i doubt it would cut much of their income. The killings would probably simmer down though. Everything else that makes Mexico a shit hole Will still exist therefore making imigration an"issue". We need to go.out there and teach their fucking president how to run a fucking country. After all, isn't that what were doing over seas? Im sure you won't here of Mexicans blowing themselves up killing civilians and American troops when we would only be there to help
