All Inclusive vacation in recommendations?

I would like to keep it under 1k per person for 4 maybe 5 days. Also want it to be adults only.
Looked at tons online, but would like to hear from people who have been to some.

we did the riu on paradise island, bahamas which was alright. right next door to the atlantis. i thought it was pretty good but i thought it seemed a little "cattle-callish" with dining. drinks seemed a little weak as well. we do a lot of cruises and i think they are a better bang for the buck (esp. since we smuggle a lot of alcohol on at the beginning), but not everyone digs cruises and i'm not sure there are many "adults only" cruises.

You MIGHT find a Sandals resort around that price in Jamaica.
I'm heading out shortly to Secrets Maroma Beach (AMresorts) which is adults only. They have several resorts in the Riviera Maya area that go as low as 350 a night.

Scour tripadvisor for that area and you will find a ton of info.

We did Secrets Capri Riviera Maya about 5 years ago and loved it. Adults only rocks. 9 days and we cried when we had to come back to Texas.

we went to Cozumel and stayed at the Aura when it first opened. All top shelf alcohol, no reservations for dinner, and a pretty damn nice place. First floor's patio walks into a pool that has a canal connecting it to the main pool and bar, top floor has a private rooftop deck with a private pool on top.

I'll throw out another vote for the Royal Playa del Carmen. Great food, great service, nice rooms, as much or as little as you want to do.

I have, but you're not going to get anywhere close to $1k pp. It cost $1k for the two of us to go over to Bora Bora for the day from Tahiti.
