I bought one of those el cheapo HF 110 flux core welders for $100, on a whim. It is actually really decent on light stuff.

After looking at the winner for Atlanta, I really need to design in a method to do a wheelie, and at least raise a flag or throw some confetti. This is gonna get exciting.

Its the 90 amp and it should be able to penetrate just under 0.20, I haven't used it on anything that thick yet though.

Is there anything you need? I have a steering wheel from a riding mower you can have. Maybe other stuff too.

It's coming a long well. Theres a few videos on our Blog, and ill post another shortly of some frame testing. We don't have anything too recent, so ill try and get some pics this weekend.

I wish I would have posted up asking about this sooner...lol. We ended up buying a welder, a few spare bikes, and go-kart parts from northern. BUT we still don't have a proper steering wheel (bike handlebars). I'll ask my driver if he thinks we should mod quick and let you know.

We'll also probably test at about 35mph this weekend if want to check it out.
