  • Just got my Ford F150 brochure in the mail

Horsepower and torque numbers are somewhat impressive. Gas city and highway have increased as well.

They give fuel economy ratings for 3 of the four engines. But not the Ecoboost? That Ecoboost engine looks like it could be fun at 365 hp/420 tq. Can't wait to test drive one of these.

Strange thing is they list (2) 6.2 ltrs or it is a misprint. One at 411/434 hp/tq and another at the back 385/405 hp/tq. Would this be a misprint?

I could be wrong, but maybe the higher output 6.2 is for the Raptor...? Anyways the new engine lineup will be a great improvement

There is only one 6.2L available. The 434/411 is the only option available, whether you're talking Raptor, Limited, Platinum, etc.

I'll take mine with the EB, please. If they ever release the damn things!

Google is your friend. The EB is one of the most heavily debated engines to hit the market in ages. Just pick an F150 forum and you'll find countless threads with the old "there's no replacement for displacement" argument raging.

Ford has several official "torture test" videos on youtube and there are a ton of other videos available on youtube.

The brochure must be wrong then. I knew I did not hear of a second one.

Nice lineup... with them taking so long to release the ecoboost.... I would definitely give them a year to get the bugs worked out.

To my knowledge there is not a 2011 F150 on any of the lots yet. To many 2010 still on the lots with the weak motors with bad gas mileage to turn the good stuff loose. Our local dealership says January to February before they get some. But that is just our local dealership here, can't speak for all of them.

on the f150 boards there are folks that have already taken delivery. i heard the 5.0 should be here now, and the eco boost in late Jan-Feb.

                        god bless.
