I love mine. Had to replace the coils twice i think. Had the recall done, then started misfiring again so i just bought a cheap set from ebay. It is working fine so far. The window regulators are easy to replace. Trans have their problems, mine does pretty good most of the time. Has bunch of cool options which i like. Cant beat A/C seats in the summer!

A buddy had one and it was a p.o.s. Terrible ride quality as well. I knew a girl that was interested in one, and ended up buying an Acura TL.
Domestic choices for a 4 door rwd v8 are limited to Cadillac or a used G8, towncar or crown vic, which is really sad, but zie Germans make quite a few.

There's no denying that is the best of the bunch, but everybody knows it, and the resale is just too high for my budget. I didn't get to be a DFWthousandaire by throwing my money around.
of the coils dont fix it, next on the list are pcms and throttle bodies. Ive seen a few of those...pcms are about double the pricetag of other pcms from what I recallRing and pinion specialist

Owned an LS and I loved it but did have some issues with it. Had issues with a radiator hose which has plastic parts on it that cracked causing it to overheat. Hose itself was somewhere around $150. Also had issues with the heat going out.... never figured that one out. I did like how smooth it drove though.

I know nothing about the Lincolns, but I will throw out some more kudos to the Mazda6. Ours is a 2005, with 110K on the clock now. Other than general maintenance, I've only had to replace a coil pack and an o2 sensor. Car is still in great shape, and very reliable. The V6 has plenty of get-up-and-go, and gets decent gas mileage. I highly recommend it.

I think the IS 250 is kinda cute, but I think the interior feels kinda cheap and boy-racer-ish.
Mercedes are nice, stay away from Audi, Acura TL's are really nice.Last edited by War Machine; 12-21-2010, 05:46 PM.

Also saw a few come in with the dual climate control that the way to fix it was to replace the master unit which was not cheap at all. Infinity>Lincoln
