used to drive me nuts when well-meaning friends and family would say things after my teal 93 vert was stolen, "Hey, I think I saw a car just like yours last week in WalMart's parking lot, but I didn't bother to write down the tag" or "Hey I think I saw a car just like your but it was red and it wasn't a convertible. It was headed toward Garland. Who knows, it might have been it."
I had one person so convinced they found it that I followed them to an apartment complex, it was a damn teal Cavalier convertible they were looking at.
HTF does that help me? Just keep your mouth shut unless you are standing looking at it or have a tag number or something.
Good luck man!

yep. Plus then I'd at least still have something to ride. I was actually about to sell the bike and get something else. Had been trying to find what I wanted.
more than anything I'd hope to find the bike just to find the person that has it...
Another business in the lot sorta SW of my work always has an R6 parked on the sidewalk. I noticed today that it had a swingarm mount for the license plate, and the plate was nowhere to be found on it. then it hit me when I was already on 35 that I shoulda gone in and asked if his plate had been stolen. if it had, then I could at least give the FWPD an update that my bike might have that tag # on it now.HD Parts
