I had just liability and theft on mine, not comprehensive. So if it was stolen I was covered but if I wrecked it I was responsible for fixing it. Wasn't that expensive for me when compared to full coverage.

Same here, but I also had lojack on my last nice bike. Nobody wanted to steal my stunt moped or aprillia.

Theft coverage on a Texas Motorcycle policy is covered under the comprehensive section of the policy.

That being said, my insurance was $75 a month with this coverage and I was about 27 at the time.

send him an email enquiring about them, and ask what he replaced them with. See if he can send you pictures because you are interested in seeing his new toys...

He's obviously is sketchy about things, just ask how much and tell him you'll take them.
Then meet up with him and bring a few friends. Don't start asking him weird shit a buyer wouldn't ask, you might scare him off.
