What companies do you know of where employees work 3 or 4 days a week?
First, please explain the three finger Pete name....

I work weekend nights, 5p-5a, and night shift gets a 20% premium over day shift, so that's nice. I did it because I'm starting school in the fall, and it leaves my week wide open.

Most of the PD's do 10 or 12 hour shifts. Also the FD's do 24 on and 48 off.

Compared to my job, I would do that in a heart beat if the money was right.

          Thanks for the information, guys.

TI alternates between the 3 and 4 day work week for operators and technicians. 12 hr days are long, but the time off is nice. Everything over 8 is OT for that shift, which ain't too shabby.

                9/80s.

Lockheed in FW, L-3 in Arlington and I believe Bell does 9/80s. We worked 9 hr days and complete 80 hrs in 9 days, instead of doing two 5 day weeks to make two 40 hr periods. In effect, we had every other Friday off. Boeing does it too.

It's going to pay a little over 53k a year before well bonuses and rig move time, by my calculations.

I work there, I love it. I could never do m-f 8 to 5 job again. Two things suck, you work either Sundays or Saturday and some holidays.

I work in a semiconductor fab here in Austin. It's Nights 1 schedule so I work every Sunday Monday and Tuesday and every other Saturday. Due to lack of people and work demand we are on mandatory overtime so I got Wednesday's on lock since I've been doing overtime before it was Mandatory. Having every Thursday and Friday off is nice when I was single but having to work every Sunday does suck. I work 6pm to 6am so traffic isn't bad. My girl in an RN so she only works 3 12hr shifts a week but her schedule is always different which sucks sometimes.
