get her a membership at a club where they have the machines. she wont do it at home she will get sidetracked and it will sit in the garage and collect dust. cardio is boring but the ones at the club have tv's built on so you can watch a movie or tv show while you burn cals.

no need to buy a spacetaker 2000, get her a bike maybe? My wife and I both have bikes and we go on rides atleast every other night, gets her out of the house, something you can do together.
satisfaction is the death of desire...

          its still "We the people"...right?

natural. It wouldnt be an issue if i was home to watch the kids while she went to work out, but her being solo with the kids 24 days a month makes it more of a challenge. Im going to look into a gym for her with childcare.

If she is that lean naturally, she should shed it quick.

My wife is about the same. She just cut out the cokes and sweet tea she got hooked on during the pregnancy and got back to 125 in no time.

I'd stay away from the cheap ones that people are selling for 50-100 bucks. If they're asking $400+ for it on CL and that same model sells for $700+, I'd be more inclined to buy that one knowing it's (typically) better quality.

We have one from Walmart that was $400 new and surprisingly it's holding up quite well and is very sturdy. The "cloths hanger" effect has almost taken place a few times, that's when I snap out of it and jump back on it.

I'm not here to argue about personal trainers, I don't give a damn. What did work is a schedule provided and then the wife did her own things. If she can run through the summer (morning or evenings), it maybe worth a treadmill for the winter.

I can understand feeling self conscience running outside around neighbors, friends and so forth. That's hurdle #1 to get over though. It's all mental anyway. (most people look at even the fattest person running and admire them for giving it a go.)
You do know how he's "training" her right?
