No, it's caused by harmonics. Putting a diff size axle on each side helps prevent this.

How come with the 03/04 cobras when you put in the stiffer bushings the wheel hop pretty much goes away? Not saying you are wrong, just asking if you'd expand a little.

How about an ecoboosted 5.0 for the GT500..

Direct injection on the 5.0 and the 3.7 would probably be a pretty substantial improvement..

As long as the 5.0 stays and it comes with 500 plus hp N/A then I don't care if it has an IRS or solid axle. I'll trade mine in for one.

I miss the IRS I had in my '03. 520/550 power to the wheels and never broke anything. Although, I wasn't beating on it at the track, but I wasn't easy on it either. Rode smooth as hell and handled even better. Finally, Ford is stepping it up in this department. Love it.

Oh and back on topic.
My Gt handles SO much better w/ an IRS. Not even close to the same performance. The car used to step out when the body rolled. Now, I have QUITE a bit of body roll before the rear kicks out. One of the best things I did to the car to improve cornering performance.
