I stayed at the Jack Tar village many years ago. Ganja was good. Don't bother with the blow, no telling what you would be sticking up your nose. Half the people that worked at the resort tried to sell both to me and the girlfriend. (only one suceeded)

Don't eat anything that they call beef. I don't think that is what it really is. Like stated above, for the most part anything outside of a resort is a shit hole with people constantly hounding you for money.

It's probably just goat.

Stay on the resort property if you go. Dunnes river falls is a fucking joke.

Jamaica as a whole is a shithole. Beautiful country inhabited by theives and scum for the most part.

That about summs it up. we will never go there again. There are way to many nicer countries to visit. Went to Costa Rica in October. It was amazing, and I didnt feer for my life walking around in non tourist areas.

I have been there 8 times and I love it. I have always stayed in Montego Bay. Beware of the craft market and the people trying to do braids. I agree with everyone else..All-Inclusive is the way to go. Make it a point to go to the Pork Pitt if you stay in Montego Bay..GREAT authentic food.

Just too many nasty ass Scammers with their hands out.

Go somewhere else... lots of better choices in the Caribbean

Just came back from Sandals Whitehouse. I was an hour and a half away from the airport, so that was fun a fun bus ride, but the property was great. Great food, super quiet. The other resorts closer to the airport you hear planes all day. Didnt hear a single one and we were there for a week.
