I have one... Always heard the food is really good on boats even though they don't have much in the way of fresh to work with. True or no? Hell I remember being out of fresh milk within a week on a Flat Top when I first started riding them.

Nothing wrong with water but when you have a JP-5 sheen on it that tends to suck. Plus a healthy dose used to be in the shower as well. Nothing like increasing the smell of fuel on you by taking a shower.

Not true. Well, I guess it's all up to the cooks. But for the most part, they are the same retards cooking the food that you guys have up top. No JP5 to deal with though!

Advise reading up on them. I was not Navy, but wish I was so I could have been on a submarine. I read about them a fair amount (not everyday or anything) and am constantly impressed - but nothing can replace living/working in them.

It does take a brass set though to go to war in a cigar tube, just on the verge of imploding 24x7.

None. When I was retired, I went to Ratheon in Temple (or was it Round Rock?) and asked to work for them, doing anything, even security on the front gate. After looking at my records, they gave the guard position to the chief's son who was 18.

Still, I'd love to travel teh world and teach soldiers the system. I love weapons manufacturers.
