Funny how fast stuff happens on the freeway...
Was on the way back from N Richland Hills about 1:30 or so after a repair on a commercial account, and was following a couple of bikes, one of which was a gorgeous Busa, kind of a burnt orange color, stretched swing arm, nice bike. I'm following these two trying to get another look at the Busa and made it all the way back to 635 and Marsh when, in the inside lane, all of a sudden there was a big ass water puddle full of concrete sludge and just flat nasty crap. These two bikes broke towards the middle lane, but one ended up going down. I'm really glad I was where I was because I was able to shut down traffic behind us pretty quickly, and luckily kept him from getting smashed. People were freaking at the big black truck swinging back and forth between the lanes while locking up the brakes! lol. Anyways, he just got skinned up pretty badly and I hauled the bike home for them. Bike made it out really well, in that it only lost the left side peg and burned up both frame sliders. Other than that it only got damned dirty from that crap on the roadway.
So any of you guys on two wheels navigating 635 at Marsh, stay out of that inside lane cause it ain't friendly!
