We have the KitchenAide 5 speed with a polycarbonate serve pitcher, it fucking rocks! It wasn't too bad in price about $200.00. We have had two in twenty years, the first one finally took a crap on me after 13 years and we have made plenty of salsa and margaritas with them both.

something mid-grade at acemart or superior.. expect to pay for it... (little secret)... If you use it a lot but dont want to spend a lot buy a cheapo at walmart and return it as soon as it breaks and they will give you a new one.. The bottom parts of blenders normally last forever... its the top plastic piece and blade that break"PSH!!!"

for ~$75 the cuisinart SPB-600 is a quality unit with a heavy duty motor and is hard to beat.

My recommendation would be a Blendtec, but you said you don't want to spend that much. You might be able to get a Vitamix for a little less, but not by much. Blendtec is hands down the best in the industry though, IMO. Both of those brands are commercial grade, and get beat to shit day in and day in out in bars and keep on going.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
