Flights

Anyone know of a hookup on flights? Flying from Dallas to Orlando in late August and I'm looking to do it cheap (relatively) I know of Orbits/southwest/priceline, if anyone knows some more resources than that, it'd be much appreciated.

FWIW, on my last five flights, SWA has been over $100 higher round trip than AA. I think the days of "cheap" Southwest flights are long gone.

We're seeing the same trends. Still flying SW when I can, but for somethings I'm given a hard budget limit and anything outside of it comes out of my pocket.

Yeah, it sucks. I'd rather fly Southwest any day. I could still book them, but I try to be cost conscious as if it were my money.

I'm going to be booking a flight for three from DFW to Detroit in the beginning of September, I looked on kayak and most everyone was 450-550 per person (YIKES!) but they had Spirit listed at 700 ish or so for all three round trip. Has anyone used Spirit airlines, what is the deal are you crammed in there like sardines or what, why is it so cheap?

No insurance? I always park at the terminal garages at DFW, when I park there. If it's out of Love Field I catch a ride to the airport.
