Training twice a week for two hours doing only technique would be like me only dieting two days a week and feasting the other 5 days. It makes no sense.
Maybe at your school you have to just serve time to get belts, not mine. You earn rank in a Gracie school. If you can't show you can execute techniques, you don't get ranked.

When i trained (Mauy Thai) Don't really care for BJJ. I did it to get into shape and thats about it. Yes i competed a couple of times but it was just for fun. I did not dedicate my life to it because I know it was not something I planned on doing for a living.See you later...
