Most of my life I've never eaten breakfast and had a serious addiction to sodas. I still have alot of improvements to make on my diet, I'm aware of that, but I am working on it. Every pound I lose is a battle, it doesn't just drop off for me like it does for alot heavy people who first begin to lose weight. It seems to be easier for me to gain muscle these days, rather than lose weight.
Oh yea, I forgot to say originally. Great job on the 50 pounds. It sounds like your head is into it and you serious about keeping it off.

The fact you realize it didn't take you two weeks to put it on and it will take some time to take it off is a great thing.

Sodas are a bitch. Some of the most worthless calories you can ingest so beating those will be a huge step.

Muscle gains are good as they raise your basal metabolism rate. A 200 pound person with 10% body fat will burn many more calories than a 200 pound person with 30% body fat.

Keep it up. It is a lifestyle change and your wife and daughter will appreciate having you as Slender Steve now and for many years to come.

We pay inflated insurance rates for both automobile and health insurance.

I haven't ridden street since last summer.

Thank you sir. It's the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, I wish someone would have taught me better growing up the value of health and nutrition. Focusing on the goal, one day at a time striving for small successes. If I focus on the big picture all at once, it's too overwhelming to tackle.

This statement is illogical. The damage inflicted by a motorcycle in a traffic accident is minimal compared to that inflicted by an automobile, thus collision rates should be less. Health insurance? I've paid health insurance premiums since I was in my early twenties and the type of vehicle I drive has never been a factor in underwriting or establishing rates.

The question is not how much motorcyclists damage, but how often the insurance company has to pay a claim out on motorcycle policies. There aren't a lot of lifelong bikers that haven't had one single wreck, so it's safe to assume there aren't a lot of life long bikers that haven't filed an insurance claim.

On Aug. 21, 1996, President Clinton signed into law the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to prohibit employers from denying health care coverage based on a worker's pre-existing medical conditions or participation in legal activities, such as motorcycling.

Later, federal bureaucrats reversed the law, writing rules to allow health-insurance discrimination against motorcyclists and others who engage in legal activities like ATV riding, or horseback riding.
Read the exclusion clause in your insurance.. they can and will bar you from payment (for treatment of motorcycle related injury) if you aren't careful in your selection of insurers. It's also why when competing or participating in a motorcycle racing event, they make you buy a special 1 month policy if yours doesn't fall into the right category.

I was wondering the same thing. For such a compassionate guy towards fat asses, he sure doesn't like it if people do jui jitsu for different reasons than he does.

I mean i can understand doing it for a hobby and to keep in shape, but I dont understand how he would go anywhere doing it? He makes it sound like he is going pro, and by the looks of it I don't see that happening. By all means I could be wrong. I'm just curious on why people take it so seriously if they are not going anywhere.
